KENT CamEye automatically notifies you about unknown driver whenever any other driver apart from the listed faces is detected. In case an unknown driver is driving, you will be notified for the same. For receiving the unknown driver notification you will need to add known driver's faces in the device's database. Any face other than those in the device's database will be classified as an unknown face. For receiving unknown driver alerts at least 1 face needs to be added so that the device can identify between a known and an unknown driver. As many as 10 faces/device can be added in the face recognition module.
To add a known driver's face :
Path: Open KENT CamEye App>>Device>>Face Recognition>>Add
When the device recognises the driver, a tick mark can be seen on the driver's face across the trip information screens. You may also check the list of captured faces of driver and co-passengers in a particular trip. You can tap on the faces to check out the zoomed-in version of the faces using the path below:-

The exclamation mark (!) on the face means the unknown driver has been detected or when the device is unable to recognize your driver’s face. Ensure that the profile picture of your driver is configured correctly in the face recognition module.
Face recognition is on best effort basis and subject to factors such as light conditions, the frequency of face movements etc. The face of the driver is captured during the trips and is displayed on all the trips in the App. If a tick mark appears on the image of the driver, it implies that the device has identified the known driver. The exclamation mark (!) on the image means the device classifies the driver as an unknown driver, this happens when the device is unable to recognize drivers face.
For face recognition to work seamlessly ensure that the pictures used for the face recognition should be with clear or white background. The pictures can be selected from the gallery or can be instantly clicked.
Ensure that your driver’s photograph is of reasonably good quality. Picture of your driver should be taken in full-face view directly facing the camera and adequate lighting, with a neutral facial expression and both eyes open, taken in clothing /items (spectacles/hearing devices) that he normally wears on a daily basis.
Please ensure the face is adequately shown on the camera when you are starting the trip.
Record Trip time-lapse video inside cam should be enabled as its a necessary condition for getting unknown driver alert. Unknown driver alert is not received in case stealth mode has been enabled and inside time-lapse video recording has been disabled. Disable the stealth mode or enable inside time-lapse video recording in stealth mode to start receiving unknown driver detection alert.
Unknown driver alert is not received in a case where inside view recording has been disabled in the configuration. Enable Record Trip time-lapse video inside cam to start receiving unknown driver alert.
